Elena created Salt Fest in 2019. She founded her first nonprofit event in 2009, and after 10 years of growing her passion for advocacy she realized she was ready to combine that passion with her love of music. 

Salt Fest 2023 was an immense success, the event raised $3,800 for Breathe Bravely. Breathe Bravely is a nonprofit organziation that supports people with cystic fibrosis by providing resources such as free vocal lessons. As someone with cystic fibrosis, Elena is very passionate about this cause.
